A case of confused identity occurred when a man of the approximate age of 30 began chirping. Doctors diagnosed him as suffering from malnourishment. It was later discovered that he simply played to many video games, neglecting his bodily upkeep. His gamer handle or gamertag if you will, was 'Chirp Ape'. Psychiatrists believed the man was so absorbed in this alter-ego his perception of reality and virtual-reality merged into one. Since this story dropped Chirp Ape has obtained a following. Gamers who have played with the man, numbering in the tens of thousands, have been sending their love out through public and virtual displays. Most notably is the development of a virtual shrine in Chirp Apes favourite game ‘Bone Shard’. Players who enter the shrine are forced to battle each other to the death, often splattering the remains of their foes upon Chirp Apes monument. Doctors are still keeping us in the dark regarding the man’s name and age and status. Our hearts go out to you Chirp Ape, get better and keep chirping.
